Aaron Jeffery was born on 25.08.1970 in Howick (Auckland, New Zealand). He has a 1 year younger sister (Nicola) and a 5 years younger brother (Dean). His parents separated, when Aaron was 10.

Aaron left the school at the age of 15 years. Two years later the left handed moved to Australia, in order to study at National Institute of Dramatic Art. In 1993 he graduated at the NIDA.

6 feet 5 inches tall actor started his acting career with series like Ship to Shore, Fire or Water Rats.

Aaron Jeffery interrupted his career for round about two years. He voluntarily withdrew from the acting industry as he was harassed and maybe attacked by a stalker. During those two years he lived and worked on a farm in New South Wales and he studied theology.

Aaron Jeffery returned to the Showbiz as he got the role as Alex Ryan at the series McLeod’s Daughters. The combination of farm work and acting was the reason for him to take up his play career again. He saw the strong female main occupation of the series likewise as large point of bonus of the series.

In 2003 he married Melinda Medich. In August the same year Melinda Medich gave birth to their daughters Ella-Blu. Two years later in 2005 Aaron Jeffery and Melinda Medich were divorced.

Although Aaron grew up in a city of New Zealand, life on the country is a special attraction for him. Therefore he bought a 130-years old property in the Australian Outback in the proximity of the set of McLeod’s Daughters.

In 2007 Aaron Jeffery acted the first time after 20 years in a series in his native country. He played Gary Savage at the series Outrageous Fortune. His long-running stint on McLeod´s Daughters changed into a guest character. He could become a member of the main cast of series 3 of Outrageous Fortune.

In 2008 he was back in Australia. He acted as Alan Hobson at the movie Beautiful. And he got one of the leading characters of the Australian series The Strip. He played the male main character Detective Jack Cross.

In 2009 he was seen like his former McLeod´s Daughters colleague Myles Pollard in W-Men Origins: Wolverine. Aaron Jeffery acted Thomas Logan.

Aaron Jeffery acted at theatre productions, too. He performed the role Alex in the Sydney Theatre Company’s (STC) production of A Clockwork Orange in 2004. He played in other STC productions like Fred, Love for Love and The Crucible. He appeared on stage in Elegies and Bouncers, staged by Threshold Productions, a company Aaron Jeffery co-Founded in 1995.

Together with Bridie Carter he played at the theatre play Love Letters in 2009.

In 2010 Aaron Jeffery was one of the tutors for the Summer Open Program workshops of the NIDA.

In June 2010 he acted on stage at the one character play Shadowboxing.

He played in one of the Underbelly Telemovies.

In 2011 you could see Aaron Jeffery as Hunter in the series East West 101. The same year he played a duple character at one episode of the series Wild Boys.

Aaron Jeffery played at the episode Blood and Circuses (2012) of the series Miss Fisher´s Murder Mysteries.

And he filmed for the next Underbelly season. For his acting at the series Underbelly: Badness he won the Aacta Award in 2013 and he was nominated for the Logie Awards.

In 2013 he could be seen at the series Wentworth and he played theatre again.

On its left upper arm has Aaron a tattoo, which he in no longer completely sober condition than teenagers be stung can has. It shows a flame.

Aaron Jeffery has got two dogs.
