At the movie Cane Cutter Dustin Clare acted as Roo. Together with his best friend Barney he grew up in a small coastal town. The movie played in the year 1970.

As Roo started to get feelings for Barney´s sister Pearl (acted by Gillian Alexy), the friendship of both men changed.

But as Barney´s life comes crashing down, Roo is there for him and goes to length that only a real friend can.
