Benefit concert for the families of Pike River miners, 

A special concert was held in Greymouth New Zealand for the families of the men 

who perished in the Pike River mine. The free concert organized by soprano Marla Kavanaugh Rodriguez, and her twin sister Marissa Dikkenberg, will feature tenor Daniel Rodriguez.
Also performing are Marla and Marissa's mother Kathi Craig, former Mobil Song Quest winner,
actress-singer Lisa Chappell. and New Zealand born tenor Will Martin. As well as presenting 

a cheque for about $10,000 for a family relief fund, the performers will read letters of 

condolence from the former New York Mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, and the former Prime Minister, 

Helen Clark.
